George Markatatos is an entrepreneur in the field of technology and innovation, with a career spanning back to 1998. He was the founder and CEO of REGATE S.A. from 2004, and has also served as General Manager of SoftOne in the Digital Commerce & CX division. Today he is active as an investor, mentor and entrepreneur, participating in advisory boards of technology and innovation-focused startups, and has founded a new startup called ForceCRM.gr. He also serves as Vice President of the Association of Innovative Companies of Greece (SEKEE), of which he previously served as President (2021–2023). His expertise lies in the areas of Digital Commerce and Enterprise Mobility, with deep vertical knowledge in B2B, CRM and Sales Force Automation solutions. He has dedicated his career to helping businesses leverage the power of mobile devices, the internet and modern technologies to increase their efficiency and agility. He is a regular contributor to industry publications and media, analyzing developments and trends in mobility and enterprise solutions. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Southampton, an MSc in Operational Research from Warwick Business School, and an MA in Innovation and Change from the University of York. Born in Paris in 1977, he is the father of three children and an avid collector of 20th-century computers and servers.
