Ms Milica Vesovic is a Programme Manager at the Council of Europe and an international lawyer with over a decade of experience at the intersection of human rights, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and innovation. She manages international cooperation programmes and works on the legal, policy, and governance challenges arising from emerging technologies. Her expertise includes artificial intelligence governance, digital regulation, liability, accountability, and the broader impact of technological innovation on democratic institutions and human rights. She collaborates with governments, international organisations, and other stakeholders to advance effective and rights-based approaches to digital transformation. Before joining the Council of Europe, Ms Vesovic worked in both the private and international sectors, including at a corporate law firm in London, Booz Allen Hamilton, and the World Bank. In her current role, she focuses on digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, bringing a global perspective to governance, regulation, and the opportunities and risks associated with emerging technologies.
