Dr. Chris Kyriakidis holds a PhD in Biochemistry, an MSc in Physics, and an MBA. With 25 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, and medtech, he has led a €130M international business and founded two bioscience startups, a social enterprise, and a foundation. Having lived in nine countries and conducted business in more than 70, he previously held leadership roles at Novo Nordisk and GN Group. He is currently CEO and co-founder of gMendel®, a Danish medtech company pioneering affordable, accurate, and scalable genetic screening for newborns to enable early diagnosis, reduce infant mortality, and significantly lower healthcare costs.
