Born in Monte Carlo and of Portuguese origin, Filipe Teixeira has been living in Italy for nearly ten years and describes himself as ‘50% Portuguese, 50% Italian, but 100% European.’ With more than 20 years of international experience in technology, he has led major digital transformation initiatives, cloud innovation projects, and AI-driven strategies across highly innovative and regulated environments. Prior to founding altermAInd in 2024, Filipe served as CIO of illimity Bank, where he played a key role in building Italy’s first cloud-native bank. Today, through altermAInd, he is committed to promoting an ethical, human-centric, and transformative approach to Artificial Intelligence, supporting organizations in integrating AI in a responsible and strategic way.
