Nikos Ververidis is a growth hacker and serial entrepreneur active in the field of cultural entrepreneurship, with extensive experience in television production, advertising and communications, as well as an active presence in the startup ecosystem. He is the founder of ELC Productions, a production company, and ελculture, a cultural platform established in 2006. Through his ventures, Nikos brings forward a clear vision: to contribute to social development through art and culture. His main responsibilities focus on business development and the overall coordination of the company’s projects. Nikos is also the founder of STOA Culture, a new cultural venue located in the heart of Athens, within the historic Arsakeio Mansion. Designed as a contemporary meeting point for the city, STOA Culture brings together art, ideas, creators and audiences, forming a vibrant cultural hub. He is also co-founder of Aephoria.net, an organisation dedicated to developing and promoting sustainable startup entrepreneurship. One of its most prominent initiatives is Blue Growth, an annual innovation and incubation competition focused on the blue economy, successfully running since 2014. Selected projects for which he has been responsible include: • “Break the Chain”, an innovative social awareness initiative launched under the auspices of the National Rapporteur on Trafficking in Human Beings. • “Greece from A to Z”, a cultural and historical documentary series. • A historical documentary on the life and work of Nikos Kazantzakis. • Historical documentaries on the relocation of the National Library of Greece and the Greek National Opera to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. • The cultural programme of Athens International Airport, “Fly me to the Moon”, among others.
