Stelios Bollanos is CEO and co-founder of Planetek Hellas, a member of the D-Orbit group since 2025, and one of the leading figures of the Greek space ecosystem, with more than 20 years of experience in the European space sector. After studying Business Administration at the University of Piraeus, he began his career in 2004 within the Planetek Group and, following a formative period in Italy, returned to Greece in 2005 to co-found Planetek Hellas, contributing to its evolution into a leading Greek space company delivering end-to-end space and geospatial solutions in Earth Observation, mission software, space data infrastructures, AI-enabled analytics, and dual-use applications for security, defence, and public policy, while actively supporting the development of sovereign national space capabilities and sustainable European space infrastructures that strengthen strategic autonomy and operational resilience.
