Mr. Lazaros Karaoulis is Chief Executive Officer of DAEM S.A. since 2024. He holds a degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Digital Systems. He is currently a PhD Candidate at Frederick University of Cyprus, conducting research in the field of Technology-Enhanced Education and Digital Technologies. His professional experience includes advisory and consulting roles in digital transformation, information systems, and educational technologies, having collaborated with organizations such as the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the Greek School Network, and the Institute of Educational Policy. He specializes in the design and development of information systems and digital services and has extensive experience in supporting public sector organizations in the implementation of digital transformation initiatives and European-funded research and innovation projects. Since 2024, he has served as Chief Executive Officer of DAEM S.A., leading the company’s strategic initiatives in digital governance, smart city solutions, and technological innovation for local government.
