Pierre-Philippe Mathieu is an implementation manager at the European Space Agency (ESA) working on the development of Space Resilience Nodes within the framework of the ESA European Resilience from Space (ERS) programme, aiming to enhance Europe’s capacity to anticipate, respond, and adapt to global challenges and natural disasters through space-based solutions. Pierre-Philippe has over a decade of experience in environmental modelling, weather risk management, and remote sensing. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an M.Sc. from the University of Liège (Belgium), a Ph.D. in Oceanography from the University of Louvain (Belgium), and a Management degree from the University of Reading Business School (UK).
